Susan Paskewitz is a Professor in the Department of Entomology and the Director of the Midwest Center of Excellence for Vector-Borne Disease. Her research centers on infectious diseases transmitted by arthropods, including Lyme disease, other tick-borne diseases, and mosquito-borne arboviruses. Dr. Paskewitz is also the Director of Undergraduate Programs in Global Health for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. She teaches classes in Planetary and Global Health, emphasizing the connections between the health of our planet and human health and well-being.
