Dr. Collins is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at UW Madison. She is also a Nurse Practitioner with certifications in both Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and Family Nurse Practitioner specialties and most recently worked clinically in a federally qualified community health center serving minority and uninsured populations. Dr. Collins is a member of the Alliance of Nurses For Healthy Environments (ANHE) as well as Clinicians For Planetary Health and Wisconsin Health Professionals For Climate Action. Dr. Collins also regularly participates in service trips with the Sierra Club. Dr. Collins’s main academic interests are in the areas of trauma, planetary health and justice and global health.
